And in the end, we captured an orange animated statue (that giggles like a chorus of elven children) to take back to as a gift to the woman who wants esoteric orange treasures. All while the golden orb compelled my character to speak his deepest secret…He took the mantle of "Connor Fendleborn IV" from a predecessor. A bit like the Dread Pirate Roberts from the Princess Bride. As a professor of potions, it's easy to explain the changes from potion mixups.

Then to summon a snarky portly faerie to help us find the invisible and concealed treasure.

(Who's true name, my character learned because in the past the character saw the faerie piss his true name into the snow after a raging bender)

And then my character summoned a demon who brings its "raunchy but humorous anecdotes" to the party. The demon's now carrying an acid covered automaton and the "gold head orb" that the faerie found us.
