On Plain Old Boring HTML: And The Hubris of Disruption
@PresGas When I learned about React, I thought a bit about it, and it became clear that it solves Facebook problems (which Facebook self-inflicted). The number of times I've later seen silent broken UI builds is absurd.
And never mind the absolute shit-show that is it's accessibility. I don't care how much you "announce change" via accessibility, moving UI parts are hard to grasp without the full array of senses and cognition.
@takeonrules Looks like I have another blog to put in MY rss reader (your initial reference). However, I did stumble on the other "boring" articles earlier as well. I have talked about this constantly at my Uni, and yet they still are not going in what I perceive as the "right" direction. I may post the boring articles to my UX group and let them process that for a bit though.
