Hi everyone, I'm Scott! Board game designer and publisher as Minerva Tabletop Games. I focus on stylised games with simple hooks, surprising depth, and unique themes.

I published my first game, Swatch: the abstract game of art, this year after funding on Kickstarter. I'm working on new games, including Six Days Of Silence, a limited communication sci-fi cooperative game.

I'm looking forward to getting to know new followers, as well as seeing familiar faces from the tabletop community!

Just had another exciting meeting about Minerva’s next game. Everything’s lining up nicely and I’m hoping to have a tasty announcement soon! 😁

I am bad at capitalism.

So bad that, until 30th Nov, if you buy a copy of Swatch from my store I'll donate a second copy to a charity, library, or disadvantaged family!

If you don't want a game you can also buy a copy at 50% off and I'll donate it!

I run @playtestuk@twitter.com sessions every Tuesday evening at @TheLudoquist@twitter.com in Croydon. If you're a game designer and want to test your game, or interested in playing new games in development, come along! 😀

Have you played and enjoyed Swatch? Leaving a positive rating and comment on BoardGameGeek is a great way to help others discover it 😊

I don’t normally do this, but my old FLGS was broken into twice this weekend. They supported me when I entered the tabletop industry, as they’ve supported the gaming community for 10+ years.

Donations of any amount and shares would mean a lot, thanks ❤️

We are live at Uncon!

Swatch is back after 3 years, from prototype to published game. It’s been great to introduce new groups to Swatch as well as reconnect with people who playtested the original!

Throwback to an evening in Greece watching the sun go down and making sandwiches in @AntscherlG@twitter.com’s 18-card prototype.

With a queue of customers and a list of orders, you have to use your actions efficiently to keep a steady stream of sandwiches going out the door!

Gaming Rules’ Gridcon last weekend raised an incredible £4,505 for charity, with one lucky raffle winner taking home a copy of Swatch! Can you spot it in the picture? 👀

I playtested Swatch for the first time at Uncon, almost four years ago! It's going to feel great to return with the published game 🤩

There's always such an amazing community feel at this show ❤️

…But the real hidden gem of the game was the components, designed to look like they were made out of found real-world items during the game!

What’s the oldest unplayed game on your shelf?

Until recently mine was Hit Z Road, a post-apocalyptic road trip designed by Martin Wallace.

Its tight resource management and bidding mechanisms make it an exciting multiplayer experience, even if the solo mode lacks that…

I had an extremely exciting meeting last night about Minerva's next release! Official announcement still to come but for now you'll just have to follow the trail of breadcrumbs I'll leave you...

What kind of game would you like to see?

Last night’s @playtestuk@twitter.com event at @TheLudoquist@twitter.com had a record-breaking attendance!

It was great to see a healthy mix of regulars and fresh faces, with some excellent games on display. I’m looking forward to our 40th(!) consecutive session next week 😀

I also run a welcoming design community based in South London to help designers playtest their games and to support their development. If you're interested in getting involved just let me know! 😊
