I’m back with another blog post, celebrating the lean, compact rules of “neo-OSR” games like Whitehack and Macchiato Monsters. kvltjam.writeas.com/spoiler-al

I’m mulling over a way to hack Ironsworn into a satire about gig-economy hirelings wrecking their bodies for the profit of asshole OSR-adventurer bosses

I brainstormed a new approach to how to handle Icon Relationship Rolls in 13th Age, and I’d love to hear what you think about them. kvltjam.writeas.com/another-cr

@jmstar I’m wrapping up a Shadowrun: Anarchy campaign, about to launch into a D&D campaign, and I’m running Blades in the Dark.

@jskellogg Q re Pact of the Blade: what stat do you think works best? I’d love to do a STR-based one, but DEX-baser is more effective (especially with Finesse weapons).

@elime check out 13th Age if you haven’t done so already - you end up throwing a ludicrous amount of dice by the time you hit the high levels.

@Cillij3 I plan on playing it but it isn’t my go-to. That spot is reserved for Blades in the Dark.
