I'm currently running Pathfinder for my wife and our 4yo and 9yo children, trapped in the Fae World, having to use social influence from Ultimate Intrigue to find the people who can help them get home.

I wish I had more time to play, I'd love to try Icons, Retrostar, The One Ring, or Cartoon Action Hour. Games I have played and would like to again are Blue Planet, 7th Sea, and Conan.

My top 3 board games at the moment are Dungeon Degenerates, Alien Frontiers, and A Touch Of Evil.

Will things get better?

Please boost for sample size.

Last night I dreamed

I don't really remember, but it involved a large group of people doing the "I feel like chicken tonight" dance to a slapping club remix of this song:

My 9yo son has been making up stories about super powered cats for a while, and said he wants to GM a game about them for his mother and me. I stole some mechanics from WOD, Blue Planet, and 7th Sea to add combat to a Lasers and Feelings hack. It's pretty rough, we have yet to play it, but I think it's good enough to try. Any suggestions?

Last night my family made our setting and characters for Fighting Delivery Felines, and it was lots of zany fun. We're the Cyber Pop Party Animals, delivering cakes, burgers, and fries in the flooded streets of a mossy, run down, but futuristic city, playing in our band, and protecting the city's energy crystals from a giant crab and her Hired Mussels.

The DM has established that I can spend 1 character point to have a bag of endless mummies.

Interesting to see seeking to provide a directory enabling Mastodon users to find other people with similar interests. The nice part is of course that you are NOT in the directory unless you add yourself. It's "opt-in".

The challenge is that they need a certain number of people to register in order for it to start being useful. (I have not yet, but might.)

I have some vague memories of similar directories being created for email a few decades ago.

I keep starting and stopping exercise programs, which, I suppose, is better than not doing what I can. Today I started again after a long hiatus, day one of the Couch to 5K program.

A itch io bundle is being assembled to benefit Black Love Resists in Rust, a Buffalo based organization, and is looking for submissions. Instructions are in this tweet:

CW reference to gun violence

Someone I follow on Twitter is interested in an bundle for the victims in Buffalo, and is looking for info from someone with experience putting bundles together.

Misspent Youth: Fall In Love, Not In Line is the punk RPG you didn't know you needed.

"Misspent Youth is unlike any other RPG I’ve ever played.... This is a game that lets us focus on the story, and makes it possible for old guys like me to imagine that we’re still young and fighting every day for something more important than a parking space."
— Wil Wheaton

So far older me hates this damn thing so much I’m debating selling it before reading more. The Garou were living avatars of Gaia’s anger facing the world’s end, but the Uratha decided they police the spirit world, miss policing humanity, and are proud of policing their ancestor. It’s like they drive spirit F150s with fetish Punisher skull decals, rather than having angsty lesbo make out sessions.

Two insane insane and wonderful #ttrpg bundles whose proceeds go for reproductive rights - Planned Parenthood and NNAF (National Network of Abortion Funds). - proceeds go to NNAF (National Network of Abortion Funds) proceeds go to Planned Parenthood and NNAF

I know that Marvel already has their own Tir Na Nog, but I was thinking of using a different timeline (Earth-1979 or some other number they haven't used yet,) and/or going with one of the other mythic isles, like Hy Brasil or Tirn Aill.

While I'm having thoughts, what's your favourite piece of Celtic mythology or mythology inspired media? GURPS Celtic Myth and Song Of The Sea are mine. I was thinking that it would be fun to use Icons to run a superhero game like Thor, Black Panther, or Shang Chi, but connected to a mythologically inspired magical/high tech world inspired by my own ancestral background.

It occurred to me recently that one of the reasons why I gamed more in high school was because my friends and I had multiple characters for multiple games, and when we got together we would ask if anyone had a story they could tell. Campaigns seemed like a cool idea, but we never got one going. Now I'm thinking of the original Conan stories, and various cartoons, I'm wondering if my partner and I would play more if we were more spontaneous and episodic about it, just ditch the idea of campaigns.

Abortion Rights, Game Bundle Submissions Open, Itch IO

I'm stuffing the two biggest card projects I've made into this, and a comic book. Bundle will support Planned Parenthood and similar. If you've made stuff that lives on itch - or you'd like to - this is a lovely chance to support something worthwhile.

*Paid* opportunity for BIPOC #TTRPG writers: We are taking submissions for Ma Nishtana Backdrops. What alternate setting will you dream up for a fight for freedom full of miracles and family?
