About to run my Traveller game with which I've stuffed with too many political orgs with three letter acronyms. I guess as a communist it's in my nature to create alphabet soups.

Despite not playing , I am for reasons unknown to me coding up a traveller character generator.

You can try it out and follow progress via jsfiddle:

I'm trying to decide whether I want to cap terms at four for my Traveller game's character creation.

what do people think of Castles & Crusades? Kinda makes me think of a real fusion of the d20 system and AD&D1e. Also somehow makes me think of the Shadow of the Demon Lord.

Saving an update with the comment "That's definitely a place that you could put the bridge."

Using GURPS Space to supplement Traveller worldbuilding always gives me the weirdest things to consider.
"Ngaca Prime orbits the Companion Star at 0.027 AU in 5 days, 2 hours, 59 minutes, 12 seconds."

Not sure about anticipating the reactions of your players though

I've been fretting over whether to use Kanka or CampaignWiki. I even made a list of pros and cons hackmd.io/@iwschlom/HybWnHU2_
I'm leaning towards Kanka partially because I find it unnecessarily fun nesting entities. The biggest problem, I think, is that having my players really use and contribute to it would require them to make accounts.

I've taken the character sheet for the campaign Beyond the Mountains of Madness, and made it fillable. I've also made a version with a table tent.
