It’s been absolutely thrilling to watch the #boardgame community growth in this server. A huge thanks to @nopunincluded for initiating the transition to this Mastodon instance. Now we just need to get Matt, Tom, Ava, Quinn’s and the Shut Up And Sit Down community to hop on over.

Hey if you've recently jumped into the server because of the trashfire bird, do think about chipping in a few $ to pay for server and namespace costs.
Twitter was free because it was selling your data and manufacturing rage to keep your eyes on the ads. Mastodon won't do that, but if we don't support the site it will go down.
I've thrown in 5€ a month, and if this becomes the space for tabletop folks, I'll throw in more. Think about doing the same if you have some cash to spare!

I completely agree with this. Mastodon isn’t Twitter. It might never replace Twitter. However, it’s worth a try at least. 🙂👍

I've seen a lot of complaining about Mastodon --- but Twitter and Facebook had huge learning curves as well. But it's a learning curve worth going through IMO.

An amazing night of #bloodontheclocktower last night. An initial game of TB to welcome a new player and then we jumped directly into a custom that featured a Goon that flipped to Evil, an Evil Townsfolk from the Bounty Hunter and a Politician who absolutely sank the Good team.
The amazing Ben Finney was the first of the #bloodontheclocktower community to join Mastodon way back in 2020. And I am happy to be one of the first to arrive now in 2022.
I'm so stoked to finally begin the transition to Mastodon and I'm thankful for the invitation to the @tabletop.social community. A huge thanks to @nopunincluded. May our community grow in positive, diverse and inclusive ways and may we leave the toxicity of Twitter behind.
