We're kicking things off fast, though, and I've already got a second article out. We're taking a look at Initiative! t.co/ivIfnBbfpE

Our first article is live! Get to know me and familiarize yourself with some terminology moving forward. t.co/tvFgw5ripM

My favorite moments of gaming are those when you're behind, and you dive deep into the think tank to try to figure out a path to victory. Nothing feels better than seeing that path, fighting tooth and nail for it, then emerging victorious.

Enjoy a shot of Kyler in the tank!

(This was my reward this month from @verysleeby@twitter.com's Patreon. He's been amazing and I couldn't recommend him more. He consistently impresses me with quality and he knocks my ideas out of the park.)

I've historically never been a huge fan of 4X games due to the immense burden of knowledge and lack of good beginner/tutorial options, but Endless Legend has caught my eye.

Anyone have experience with it that they can vouch for / advice regarding it?

Side note: I love how House Dimir also serves as a courier service and takes care of sending mail throughout the city. I love those more day-to-day aspects of life in Ravnica!

Honestly I'm loving how Dimir is looking in . I love that they've moved away from "take a blue effect, add a B to the cost somewhere, and mill 2". I also think the flavor for Dimir is hitting it OUT OF THE PARK this time around!

Howdy all, I'm a long time card, board, video, and role-playing gamer! I'm also an amateur game designer and I have history as an assistant manager at an LGS. I've been all over the block, and I love talking about games!

Coming from a background where I had experience critiquing writing, it makes being a easier. It lends to tackling people's personal character arcs easier. It's easier to just out and out ask:

*Does this thing you're talking about matter, or is it window dressing for the concept?
*What do you want or hope to see from this scenerio?
*What do you want me to do with this information you've given me?

Never be afraid of asking your players "What do you want me to do for you?" because it'll end up being more satisfying and memorable for them, and it takes a lot of pressure off of you to wing it
