Recently I woke up and realized that, in my 2-3 years in this hobby, I've been slowly spreading myself across multiple platforms. So I've decided to gather them all in a neat linktree. If you're interested in what I might be doing, or want to give me additional encouragement (which I definitely need more often than not), you can check it out here:

I'll leave this pinned in my profile, but I'll add below individual links for each thing, in case linktree goes down.
My first post here, so I wanted to present myself. #introduction
Hi, my name is Dimitri K (he/him), but you can find me in the internet as Dimitri, Dr. Givaca (the adorable cow/giraffe hybrid in my pfp).
I'm a portuguese geology student, but my social presence is mostly about me as a roleplayer and game designer. I play almost any game I can try, but am a passionate defender of One-Roll Engine and GM-less/full games.
I also write my own games and post in my blog about whatever comes to mind.
What would happen if Marie Kondo advised murder hoboes? π€
You might get the answer with "Paris Gondo - The Life-Saving Magic of Inventorying".
This rapid fire GM-less TTRPG for 3 to 6 players sparks joy and will help you BANISH ENCUMBRANCE FOREVER!
Someone on Twitter is organizing a TTRPG bundle with all proceeds going to reproductive rights. You can submit your game here:

then are the places where I actually publish stuff:
my itch.io page only has few games, but they are available both in portuguese and in english! I'm definitely working on new things, but my pace isn't great: https://dimitri-drgivaca.itch.io/
my blog sees a bit more activity, as I write about games I've played or read, RPGs I'm developing, or just some casual articles that I feel like writing: https://theludonarrativegivaca.wordpress.com/
last, there is my youtube. don't go there, it's a desert: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU_ow06zYGgwIyZZXyxLsPg
firstly there are my social networks, where I do most of my community discovery, and talk with other roleplayers/game-designers (out of discord, that is).
Now I am both on twitter (https://twitter.com/DGivaca) and here on Mastodon (https://tabletop.social/web/@DGivaca).

In the latest and more minimalistic version of HerΓ³is Modernos the creative team is tasked with creating the back-up story for one issue of Vanguard, the city-sponsored super-team of Odeon City.
The authors start by creating their own original super-heroes by coming-up with some words or expressions that describe their hero's Name, their Concept (a mix of their heroic Archetype, Reputation and Bond), one distinctive Power and their psychological Vulnerability.
Since 2014 I have been developing HerΓ³is Modernos, a super-hero comic book creating tabletop game where you play as the creative team of a fictional publisher called Odeon City Comics.
It's a diceless narrative game where a group of "authors" and an "editor" manages a pool of "Charge" tokens to mediate the creation of panels on the page, the structuring of the story in two acts and also the creation of a full page advertisement and fan mail.
Since 2011 a semi-organized collective of tRPG fans called "Roleplayers de Lisboa" has been organizing a monthly RPG meet-up in Lisbon in order to help to grow our small community here in Portugal.
Unfortunately we had to stop our meet--ups during two years due to the pandemic.
And now we're happy to announce publicly that they are coming back next May 14th.
If you live in or near Lisbon, or you're just passing by, please join us and let's play together!

Since it's been about a year, I figured it's time for another go around! Join me for another Mock Cover Jam - this time with the theme Rituals & Folklore. Make a ttrpg based off a cover and title someone else came up with! #mockcoverjam https://itch.io/jam/mock-cover-jam-2

I should probably toot about my blog since I have one now and mastodon never heard of it: https://blog.dreamup.games/ Click on "posts in English" if you don't want to see articles in my native language. I'll be trying to translate at least some of them in the near future. #indiettrpg #ttrpg #gamedesign #dnd

Nomad #647 logging in. I've just entered a new planet's orbit. I'm going to name this one Abori IV. So far, the atmosphere seems OK, but I'll need to land to collect more data.

OlΓ‘!
I'm a fortyish English teacher and tabletop roleplayer from Portugal.
I'm really into tRPGs and have been playing since the mid-90s.
I'm also a founding member of a local tRPG community called "Roleplayers de Lisboa".
In the past I've designed a bunch of minimalistic tRPGs based on World of Dungeons and for years I have been developing "HerΓ³is Modernos", a super-hero comic book creating game.
Here's hoping we can interact and even play together in the future!
