Was pondering a paperless, diceless TTRPG system after randomly RPing in the Gen Con wrist strap line earlier this year. So far I’ve come up with this: player guesses a number set by GM. Success is being within 3 of the number. Difficulty is set by GM.
“Dice” range based on the challenge set by GM.
Easy: d4
You Can Certainly Try: d12
Advantage or disadvantages created by narrative result in ‘the roll’ being on lower or higher dice.
